A Lead Actor within the Wallywood Movie industry located in Wa, Atik Limann Dagadao has Explained why Most movies they shoot do not have elderly People featuring in them.

He noted that the elders are not well informed about the need and significance of featuring in movies of Wallywood. He continued that the Industry doesn’t pay well enough to attract such lead characters.

Interview: What do you think of some producers using young boys as old men in Wallywood Movies?

In wallywood, it is outright for producers to use old people for movie roles that need old characters to play. But the location they found themselves is a place where elderly people do not petronise acting, they see it as a useless job. For that mater the producers use young talented people for such roles in other for the movie industry to survive.
It only seems too bad when the young character can’t play the elderly role well. Even in Kumawood we have seen Liliween play an old man roles very well. So if the old people refuse to participate then to the young shall.
