Some Sachet Water Producers within the Jirapa Municipality in an interview with Gangaa FM’s Marcelinus Mwinsagra, denied claims they have increased price of Sachet Water in the Municipality.

Per the Statement Issued with Host, Marcelinus, the Producer explained that efforts were in place to hold a close door meeting in order to determine if a new price should be introduced but due to sudden change of temperature and weather patterns they couldn’t, he added that rows of rubber for packaging are being produced in Wa and a row is Ghc10, he went further to add details that a bag of Water is currently being sold at Ghc4 in Jirapa and will remain so till further notice.

“Water should have been cheaper in Wa because most of the raw materials such as rows are being produced in Wa and not Jirapa”.
