Ullo in the Jirapa Municipality

Many persons have been displaced and rendered homeless after a heavy rainstorm visited Ullo, a suburb of Jirapa in the Upper West Region.

The incident which happened yesterday April 5, 2022 has also thrown parts of Ullo into darkness as a number of electric poles have been brought to the ground.

Many structures have been ripped off by the abhorrent rainstorm.

Some victims who spoke to Gangaa Fm have called on the Jirapa Municipal Office of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) to try as a matter of urgency to offer some assistance to them.

Some popular structures that were equally not spared by the rainstorm included the Ullo Naa Palace, Nurse’s quarters and Teachers quarters.
