A Nasara Coordinator of the Sissala West District if Upper West Region has been physically Assaulted by unidentified thugs within Gwollu in the Sissala West District.

The Coordinator by name Iddisu and Popularly called Walaika in Gwollu was assaulted on the 18th of April 2022, at about 10pm by abled men numbering over ten, the men spoke Sissala Language as they carried out their actions.
The victim sustained several injuries on both his hands and Foot after several objects were used on him.

He was accused of betraying the party by divulging top secrets to some group of people in an opposition team ahead of their internal elections to take place on the 30th of April.

He has since been Admitted at the Upper West Regional hospital’s emergency ward undergoing treatment.
The Regional Nasara Coordinator, Alhaji Osman Mohammed is yet to respond to the Development.
