A concerned Citizen within the Wa Municipality By Name Sungumo Dauda has demanded for the Upper West Regional Crime Officer, Chief Superintendent Reynold Manteaw to leave his office and fight crime.

He referred to the office of the crime Officer as a comfort zone.

This was after a woman believed to be in her late 40s was stabbed twice at Kpaguri and her bag taken away from her by unidentified men.

According to Sungumo Dauda, the police are relaxed and doing little to address crime situations in the Upper West Region.

Statement

“I think is not about commander alone, we have crime officers in there,they should up their game. Crime is increasing in the region they should leave their air conditions office and act we will help them.”
