The Upper West Regional Police Command has held a dialogue with the a journalist summoned for questioning on the 19th of April 2022.

He Availed himself on the 20th of April 2022 after the Public Relations Officer Changed the Date over inconveniences.

Sungumo Dauda honored the call to present himself to the Regional Police Command as directed by the Public Relations Officer Chief Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng, he Availed himself at the Regional Office overseen by Chief Superintendent Reynold Manteaw.

Mr. Reynold Manteaw opted for dialogue and Explained the operations of the police to him, he also took some Relevant information from Mr. Sungumo Dauda, a journalist with Puopeli FM concerning an investigation he alleged the police had ignored.

Thank God our meeting with the police ended successfully,the crime officer took time to explain their procedures in fighting crime in the region for our understanding.I also apologised for the comment made.
On the issue of the drugs seller,crime officer invited the police station officer and that issue is under investigation.

The Regional Crime Officer assured him investigations were going to continue on the case of the drug peddlers Mr. Sungumo reported earlier.
