Some Members of the New Patriotic Party within the Wa East Constituency have resisted Attempts to Issue no.1 position of the ballot paper to the Incumbent Chairman of the Constituency by Name Mr. Saeed Samsideen Popularly called Big Sam.

Vetting took place successfully and tossing to determine the ballot positions of each aspiring member is to come afterwards.

Some party members have since called for normalcy in the process of tossing and positioning aspirants in order for calm to be restored.
Mr. Saeed Samsideen(Big Sam) is in the race for the chairmanship alongside Alhaji Ishmail A. Kankronye and Abubakari Bawa.

There has been tension ahead of the new Patriotic party’s constituency elections to be held in Upper West Region, Current Nasara Coordinator for Sissala West, Iddrisu popularly known as Walaika was Attacked on the 18th of April 2022 by party thugs.
