The Upper West Regional Police Command is set meet hostel owners within the Upper West Region in a close door meeting.

This was disclosed by the Regional public Relations Office headed by Chief Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng.

The Letter dated 22nd April 2022 detailed the venue of the close door meeting which is The Church of Pentecost Police Premises, Wa, located within the police yard on Monday 25th of April 2022.

Reasons for the meeting were not disclosed.

Meanwhile Reports gathered by Upperwestmedia Team Indicates the invitation could possibly be as a result of security related issues within Student hostels, some students have been attacked lately in hostels within Bamahu and it’s nearby environments.

Upper West Region has two Public Universities including the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University and The Simon Diedong Dombo University(SDD-UBIDS).
