The Principal of Wa Technical Institute,  Mr. Saaka Adams has narrated how a student from Northern Region Collapsed in his Office after he was told there is no room to admit more students in the school.

In an interview with Warris Anaakaa of Home Radio on 25th of April 2022, the Principal Stated that demand for the school has been very high lately and as a result he admitted over 700 students, meeting the the required number of 790, whilst other requests are 2014 on his desk.

“Before I came to your radio station, a student who is Chokossi by tribe from Cheriponi came to the School(Wa Technical Institute), he was placed in Kaleo Senior High Technical, I told him I can’t admit him into the school because we have exhausted the number required, he came alone and pleaded, I turned his transfer request down and he fell on top of my official visitors chair, I felt sad for him, this means the student was so concerned about technical education, I’m trying my best to assist the student in order to prevent him from doing something ‘unexpected’ “.

Wa Technical Institute is a first Choice Pre Tertiary Technical Institution in Upper West Region.
