Several People have been rendered homeless in Nakore after a heavy downpour experienced in Parts of Wa Municipality on the 26th of September 2022.

The Rains Started Early hears of the Day and Continued for about 5 hours.

Lightening Accompanied by Thunder Struck a Shea Tree which fell on a building and injured a Woman. The victim sustained injuries on the face but survived the natural disaster.

Some other rooms within the same stracture was destroyed and as a result inhabitants were left stranded. Several others have had their homes flooded.

Properties were destroyed including clothes, and some electronics, food items were also affected by the flooding.

Residents of Nakore have called for the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) and other sympathizers to come to their aid.
