Several Members of the National Democratic Congress had filed to contest in the party’s internal elections in the Jirapa Constituency as at 29th September 2022.

In an interview granted Mr. Bernard Yebang, he cautioned against misunderstandings during and after the internal elections.

He outlined that 34 Aspirants have submitted their forms to the party’s Secretariat as at 29th September 2022.

Per details given by the acting Elections Director for Jirapa Constituency, he stated:

“2 People came to file yesterday for Deputy secretary position and Executive position known as Eight others, vice Chairmanship we have 2, Secretaryship, we have 2, Deputy Constituency Secretary, We have 2, Constituency Treasurer, 2, Deputy Treasurer, 1, Organizer, 1, Deputy, 2, Communication Officer ,2 , Deputy Communication, 2, Zongo Caucus, 1 , Youth Organizer, 1, Deputy Youth, 3, Women Organizer, 1, Deputy, 1, Other Youth Representative, 2 , Eight others Position, 7, We are still accepting Nominations as at 29th September”

As at 29th September, 34 people had filed to contest.
