Residents of Ngarnvor in Takpo-Tuori Electoral Area in the Nadowli-Kaleo District are calling on the government to provide them dam under its One-Village One-Dam policy.

According to residents of Ngarnvor, their animals go to Takpo dam to drink but sometimes do not return because the dam is far from their community.

Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Mr. Gabriel Loriku said, they can engage in irrigation farming if there is a dam in the community.

Madam Regina, another resident of the community, indicated that they share the borehole at the community with animals because of inadequate source of water in their community.

1V1D project was one of the pledge made by President Akufo-Addo prior to his Election as President in January 2022.
