A Soya Beans Processing factory has been built in Tumu Located in the Sissala East Constituency.

This was revealed by the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on the 11th of October 2022 at the Tumu Kuoro’s Palace.

He added that efforts are being put in place to equip the factory with the necessary tools and machinery for full operation.

“One district one factory is being implemented, I know that I Soya Beans Processing factory is being built here, the building is complete and they are awaiting the machinery for the start of that factory.”

Dr. Bawumia had also assured that efforts are being out in place to retool the Tumu St. Clare’s Vocational School which is now a TVET School.

Contractors of the Tumu Astro Turf Project have promised to complete the sport facility within a period of 6 months.
