The Municipal Chief Executive of Jirapa, Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri has pledged to Support JHS Candidates who score grades between 6-12 in this year’s examination.

He revealed his plans on the 17th of October 2022 in Jirapa through his public relations Officer Joseph Kontomah.

As this year 2022 BECE exams start today 17th October, 2022. Jirapa Municipal have registered a total number of 1,282 candidates, Boys 614 and Girls 668.

It would be recalled that, September this year under the leadership of Hon. Nicholas Soyiri, Mock exams were organized for candidates as part of efforts to prepare them adequately to enable them performed better to change the narrative of an almost decade old poor performance of BECE exams in the Municipality.

The Hon. MCE visited all four (4) examination centers in the municipality to inspire and wish them best of luck.
He reminded them of his pledge during this year lndependence Day Celebration about his office readiness to sponsor candidates who will scored an aggregate between 6 and 12 to further their education at their senior high school level.

He admonished them to conduct themselves proper during this period and not get involved in any examination malpractices as such act will not only damaged the reputation of the Municipality but also their own character.

He expressed optimism about better performance in this year BECE exams and pray not to be disappointed.
