Zini community in the Sissala West District of the Upper West Region now officially operates a police post.

The District Chief Executive, Batong-Hor Aisha, the district coordinating director, the district police commander ASP Akakpo, the community elders and youth of Zini were present to grace occasion .

The police post was successfully commissioned and subsequently handed over to the Zini community through the district police commander by the DCE on the 1st of November, 2022.

The DCE highlighted on the relevance of the police post to fighting crime and restoring peaceful coexistence among families, individuals and communities in the Buwa enclave.

She further apologized to the community for the delay in commissioning the police post.

“We share boundaries in the south with Jirapa and in the west Lambusie, Duu is our last community to Jirapa, I therefore want to appeal to the commander to assign his boys to operate to cover all jurisdiction of the Buwa area since security is very paramount to the people of Ghana, Sissala West and Zini”. Said elder Mr Mensah Wajiwie.
