The Project site is at Goziiri-kul-Ora

On 3rd November, 2022 the Municipal Chief Executive of Jirapa, Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri together with Mr. Mohammed Abdual-Majeed Coordinating Director, some staffs from Jirapa Municipal Assembly and the Municipal Health Directorate, Chiefs and Landlords, Assembly Members, and Unit Committee Members, were at Goziiri-kul-Ora to cut sod and hand over site to the contractors; Mimiza Enterprise and Holy Spirit Take Control Limited for commencement of works.

The Project is funded through the Assembly’s Common Fund.

The contractors are given three (3) calendar months to complete construction of the following projects;

1. 1no. CHPS compound with delivery unit, 4KVIP seater, 2 unit urinal and furniture.

2. Construction of 1no. 4unit self-contained nurses quarters with furniture.

Hon. Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri in his brief remarks said the positive impact of the projects when completed will reduced the difficulties of Children’s, Women, the aged and generally patients stressed in accessing primary health care.

He said regardless of the global economic effect on the Ghanaian economy, the NPP led government is still working tirelessly to meet some needs of the good people of Jirapa, as such his firm believed that the current economic down trend will be revived.

He called on residents in the municipality to remain calm and support the government and his office as the current economic situation will soon be brought to normalcy.

He entreated the contractors to ensured that, work is completed within the scheduled time and called on the community to give the contractor the needed support as and when the need arises to effectively complete works within time.

He concluded with the assurance that, the technical staffs at his office will be regular at construction site to supervise and ensure quality works of the projects.
