A Former Sissala East Parliamentary Candidate of the People National Convention, Lawyer Kingsley Kanton who has defected to the NDC was today 12th November 2022 prevented from Accessing the Election center of the Party, Lawyer Kanton travelled from Tumu is the Sissala East to the Election Center as an Accredited Observer but was later denied entry with reasons that his accreditation could not Grant him access to the Center.

In an Interview with the Affected NDC Member, he expressed dismay with the development.

“My name is Kingsley Kanton, I’m from Tumu in the Sissala East, I have been here since Morning and the security have told us that as an observer we should wait for a while, we have been here for about three to four hours now under the scorching sun, the least i can say is that I’m disappointed I have been out here since morning, we love the party that’s why we are here.

The least they could have done is to allow us go into the premises, at least we could find somewhere to sit at least to catch some shade, we have been told as observers we have to wait for a while, we were only told that in the next couple of minutes we will be Allowed inn, I don’t know what protocols the party heirachy in Wa has given to the security but if it so, let someone tell them that as observers we love the party that is why we are here”.

His Presence was Acknowledged at the Entrance of the Elections Centre by the Deputy Regional Secretary, Alhaji Danwana but the security Denied him Entry.
