The Newly Elected NDC Regional Chairman Abdul Nasir Saani has paid a courtesy call on his contender today, 14th November 2022.

This was after he won the Elections on Saturday 12th November 2022 at Wa Technical Institute.

Abdul Nasir Saani (Bunas) polled 227 votes against Alhaji Adams Randy’s 157.

After the Elections, Alhaji Randy pledged to work hand in hand with the Newly Elected Regional Chairman to take back power for from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Alhaji Randy has begun his appreciation tour will the Wa Naa’s Palace as his first destination.

Mr. Abdul Saani Nasir was elected in 2018 after he lost the Elections in 2014 to his close contender Mathew Sung-Aabo by then, he came back in 2018 an won by a landslide margin, this was after Mathew Sung-Aabo lost several Parliamentary seats in 2016 to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr. Bunas won 3 Seats Back for the National Democratic Congress in 2020.
The seats Include the seat of Wa East constituency, Sissala West Constituency, Lawra Constituency.

Mr. Saani will continue as Chairman till 2026.
