Upper West Regional media has lost some dependable news reporters and radio host in the past 6 years, a big blow to the Media Fraternity. These are some of the Journalists the region has lost.

Firstly, Âŋ Oora Mɔɔ Mathais
Mr. Mathias was a very proactive radio broadcaster who worked with Radio Progress for over 10 years, he passed on after a short Illness.

Secondly, Alhaji Banaman
Alhaji Banaman was a morning Show host of Friday Morning Toaster on Radio Progress Before he passed Away. He was a socialist. Mr. Banaman was from Jangbeyiri and passed on 20th August 2017, 5 Years Ago. He was 41 years old before he passed on.

Thirdly, Chris Alalbila
Mr. Chris Alalbila was a household name in the Media Fraternity of Upper West Region, known for his eloquence in the Media space, Mr. Chris was one of the reasons several people tuned to Radio Upper West Daily for Relevant content. He was from Bugri in Upper East Region and passed on in March 2018.

Lastly, Linus Aadaarbiir
Late Linus was a Morning Show host with Nandom 101.9 FM in Nandom Municipality before he passed in May 2022, he was from Puffien Gbong-Gangn and was Buried on May 27-2022.
