The member of Parliament for Lawra constituency, Hon. Lawyer Bede Ziedeng has put smiles on the faces of students and staff of Lawra SHS in the Lawra constituency with a surprise donation of 20 pieces of street lamps to the Institution.

This occurred when he was invited by the LASSOSA executives to help present a donation to the school for the national science and maths quizz.

The Hon MP had had the School at heart since his inception as MP. He donated 100 pieces of student mattresses to the school when the girls dormitory was ripped off by rain storm in March 2022.

He also informed the student body that he will be coming back to present 4 set of computers to schools in the municipality which Lawra SHS would not be excluded in a mean time.

The headmaster thanked the MP and further appealed to him to support the school with a pedrollo brand submersible pump as the school is currently depending on one pump which will be disastrous in case it fails to function.
