A Past Student of The UDS Bamahu Campus has Reflected into the Past after Developments at Ashiaman became a top issue of Discussion Nationally.

According to Abigail Boateng, Some Students Suffered in the Hands of Petty Thieves and Rapists in the Quest to secure their future through formal education, she Advocated for The Regional Security Council and Assembly Member, Hon. Adams Yahaya Jiga to Address the Menace.

Statement

Today’s incident at Ashaiman reminds me of what happened at Wa in 2021. Thieves were stealing from us since since. It got worse everyday.
You can’t hold your smart phone after 7pm to the roadside mpo. Someone will slap you to take it away from you. Rape cases where the culprits were scared to even open up. We complained saa no one paid attention to us until they finally took a soldier’s phone and the rest is history. Common curtains they were stealing. Hmmmm. All these were happening at only where students hostels were like Bamahu and campus itself.

Herrrr !
I used to go to campus to study with a kitchen knife in my bag to pavilion. I was scared but I had to finish that course. Smh 🤦‍♂️ We lived in fear.
We really suffered there ! 🥺😓🤧
The students were somehow happy when they started showing them small atiwa because a lot happened. No one cared ! The incidents were uncountable but God saw us through.
Sometimes they will steal your phone g*n point.

I don’t know why people are so evil.
Why kill someone? Why? 🤦🏼‍♀️
We beg the mmarima mma we know they are angry but it’s okay. Biko 😩

Daniel Nabwomya

“I wrestled with two thieves midnight on my back from campus during exams week because of Samsung Galaxy 4. It was like a war zone and it sounds funny when narrating from a far.”
