A Man has Reportedly been found dead near the Black Volta, Meters away from Babile in the Lawra Municipality.

According to a Reliable Source close to the Security Service, the Source revealed that the deceased was found on Monday 17th of April 2023 with measures in place investigate the cause of his death.

Efforts are also in place to confirm if  the deceased is a Ghanaian or from a Neighboring Country.

Speaking to Assembly Member for Babile Electoral Area, Hon. Alex Yirikye on Tuesday, 18th April 2023, he indicated that that he wasn’t privy to such information but assured he was working to get more details about the development.

The Upper West Regional Public Relations Office of Ghana Immigration Service is yet to release a detailed report on the Development.
