The Upper West Regional Director of Elections, Mr. Ishmael Dibkuu (MPhil) has issued a Disclaimer dispelling rumors suggesting the directorate has made major errors in designing a notice of polls flyer shared with the Public.

In the Statement Released on Wednesday 19th April 2023, Mr Ismail Dibkuu indicated that the Flyer is fake and hasn’t originated from the Elections Directorate.

Meanwhile, In the Flyer, it is stated that the Wa Central Constituency Elections will be held at Lower Menya Krobo in the Northern Region.

“the election would be held at LOWER MENYA KROBO constituency in the Northern Region on 13th, May 2023 between 7am to 4pm”.

The upper west Regional elections directorate have taken notice of a purported notice of polls in circulation which was not authored by our honourable office. The directorate will officially share notice of polls of the various constituencies as and when they are ready. Kindly disregard any attempt by some mischievous Individuals who intends to bring the hard earn reputation of the directorate to disrupt. Thank you
