Reports Reaching Upper West Media Team has revealed that some Parts of Tumu Road specifically Nahadaqui has been left unusable after a heavy rainfall was recorded on Saturday 29th April 2023.

The Development has resulted in farming activities and transporting of goods being at a halt. Some business men and Women within the Sissala Enclave have expressed worry calling for the Coordinating Council to Attend to the Deplorable Road condition.

Meanwhile Radford FM was at the Site and can confirm that works are in place to get a motorable route for road users.

Part of the Tumu Road leading to Lawra According to the Regional Coordinating Council was awarded to 5 Contractors for Construction.

This was Revealed by the Upper West Regional Minister, Dr Bin Salih in an Interview with Seyidou Bhomanjo of Radio Upper West on 18th if July 2022.

Last night’s rainfall rendered part of the Tumu Wa road under construction impassable, passengers and road users are currently stranded at Nahadaqui, reports say the contractor is on site trying to find options for the stranded vehicles and passengers.
