The Upper West Region will be receiving Former President Mahama on Tuesday 9th of May 2023 from the Wa Airport to the Wa Naa’s Palace through to some Constituencies in the Region.

He will be at the Tumu Training College in the Sissala East Municipality on the 9th of May and proceed to Gwollu’s Hilla Limann Senior High School in the Sissala West District. He will Proceed to Lambussie(D/A JHS Park), Nandom (Parish Hall) and Lawra(Lawra SHS) Respectively on Same Day.

On the 10th of May 2023, the Former President will Proceed to Jirapa to Engage Party Members at the Jirapa St. Francis Girls SHS, He will continue to Nadowli and Proceed to Issah in the Dafiama-Issa-Bussie Constituency. He will continue to Wa East(Bulenga Traditional Council), Wa West (Lassia SHS) and Finally to Wa Central (Wa Technical Institute) All on the 10th of May 2023.

The Itinerary was released by the Upper West Regional NDC Secretariat headed by Lawyer Charles Lwanga Puozuing.

Former President Mahama is aspiring to be Retained as Flagbearer of the national democratic congress for the 2024 general elections.

He is in the race with Dr. Kwabena Duffour and Kojo Bonsu.
