
Former General Secretary of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), Dr Titus Beyuo, has won the parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lambussie-Karni Constituency in the Upper West Region.
Dr Titus Polled 443 Votes, Mr. Edward Dery Polled 224 votes whilst Mr. Emmanuel Payan Polled 35 Votes.
The NDC elected its presidential and Parliamentary candidates on Saturday, May 13.
All 10 Parliamentary Candidates Of NDC In the Upper West Region have been retained with the exception of Edward Dery, a Former Member of Parliament for Lambussie Constituency.
Meanwhile there was a Fierce Contest in the Dafiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency where Dr. Sandaare Won with a Close Margin, Abu Kansangabata Polled 303 votes whilst Dr Sandaare Polled 311 a difference of 8 Votes out of a Total of 622 Votes in the Constituency.
Former President Mahama also Polled 10,329 votes in the Upper West Region which is 96.16% whilst Kojo Bonsu Polled 320 votes making 2.98%.
