The Wa Jamiat Al-Hidaya Islamic Girls SHS located in the Wa Municipality will be getting a fence wall from Tomorrow, 31st May 2023 to protect it’s land from encroachers and also students from leaving the School’s premesis without due processes followed.

The New School put in place less than a Decade ago was formerly known as Wa Islamic Senior High School before Jamiat Al-Hidaya Islamic school was established.

Several Appeals had been made in the Past by various stakeholders including the Overlord of Waala Traditional Area, Naa Fuseini Pelpuo IV.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo directed the Zongo Development Fund to take up the responsibility of constructing a fence wall around the Wa Jamiat Islamic Girls Senior High School in the Wa Municipality, he made the Statements in August 2022 during a visit.

“Wa Naa you know how important is education in my programme, I will do anything possible to make sure this requests are made as I have done in the past and as far as the fence wall of the Islamic girls school, the Zongo Development Fund has been given instructions to deal with that matter so I expect that it will be done soon”.

According To home Radio in Wa, A Commercial Radio Station, the Senior High School will have a fence wall Constructed Around It after Intial Pledge made by President Akufo-Addo during a Courtesy call on Wa Naa.
