A Suspected Thief has been lynched in Kunta a Suburb of Wa Municipality after assaulting a man with a Matchet early hours of Sunday 28th May 2023.

The Suspect only identified as Toffic attempted taking some valuable items away from some targeted individuals but was apprehended in the act, he tried to run away in the process but couldn’t so he resorted to using a Cutlass on his target in order to have a free space to abscond.

Luck Eluded him when the victim persevered and locked him in him room before shouting for help.

After the targeted individual shouted, some abled men and women came all out and Lynched the Suspect by name Toffic with the use of logs, blocks and other solid objects.

Toffic, before his death resided in Zongo, Opposite Sungmaale FM on the Wa Ring Road, his guardians are into Construction works.

Police are currently investigating the development to get accomplices of the crime prosecuted.

On the 4th of April, 2023, a Suspected Thief by name Hamdan was Lynched in Sombo for Stealing a goat, the suspect according to Reliable sources was a resident of Kabanye.

Several Stakeholders have called for society to be reshaped by applying some social mechanisms including Education and insisting or parental responsibility.
