An Elderly Man who is a resident of Duori in Wa Municipality has alleged that Rashid Anaata is not from the Upper West Region.

He issued the Statement on Wednesday 31st May 2023 during a discussion concerning Anaata’s claims that he is from Wa and Hails from Limanyiri and has ties with Zongo and Dondoli.

According to Mba Fuzzy, Anaata is from the Volta Region and is An Ewe by Tribe, he added that Anaata’s Mother is rather from Wa but based on the fact that we don’t practice the Patrilineal system as the culture of people within the North, he is from Ewe Clan.

“…he is not from Wa as is being claimed in his interview, he is an Ewe ‘Anaata Anwina la’.”

In an Interview with Home Radio few days ago, Rashid Anaata issued a Statement indicating he is from the Wa Municipality.

Rashid Anaata has been Accused of Defiling about 30 under aged girls in the Wa Municipality, he is currently on the Run.
