Several accidents have Occured in the past and if care isn’t taken some others may occur.

The National Road Safety Authority is being called upon to work towards reducing road Carnages.

Firstly, Defacing Road Signs in Wa, other Districts.

Some road signs in the Wa Municipality have been defaced by Residents during political campaigns and by some event organizers, these road signs which are to guide road users have lost their purpose due to the inactiveness of some public institutions.

Secondly, Lack of focus on the Road, the campaign to stop drivers from making calls whilst Driving is not yielding results because people in top positions even engage in that act, some of these acts divert one’s focus from the road resulting in accidents.

Thirdly, Drunk Driving, some people drink and drive in the Wa Municipality, with the number of drinking spots established daily in the town, there is high probability of drunk driving, a development that has resulted in several road crashes.

Fourthly, bad roads, the nature of our roads are improving but not the best, talk of the size of roads and the narrow roundabouts, these are issues the Assembly and other Stakeholders should address.

Lastly, Spirituality, people can die out of spiritual manipulations on our roads, let’s not write that off,if you are using a stolen machine and the owner resorts to oracles to pay you back with an accidental or death through a road crush, it may occur.

Two horrendous accidents have been recorded so far in the past 72hours with two deaths recorded through Accidents.
