
The Upper West Regional Coordinating Council headed by Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih has pledged to support the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University in getting their projects completed.
Speaking at the 4th Congregation Ceremony of the Newly Established Technical University on Saturday 3rd June 2023, The Upper West Regional Minister Indicated that government was aware of the infrastructural challenges the institution is faced with and is poised to bringing a change to that fettle.
He also urged Management of the Institution to Resort to ICT and Online Mode of Learning in order to facilitate effective teaching and learning in the Absence of Lecture halls and Learning Centers.
“… management must leverage information technology to augment teaching and learning in the phase of inadequate infrastructure to facilitate training, learning, research and online delivery Courses, Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is aware that as a new university you are confronted with an array of infrastructural challenges including lecture rooms, office space, accommodation and student hostels, I assure you that twitch the government’s commitment to supporting tertiary Education, these challenges will be a thing of the past..”.
Three Hundred and Sixty Five Students Graduated from the University and were awarded Higher National Diploma Certificates.
Out of the Number, 237 were male whilst 128 were female. The Dispensing Technology Department Produced the Highest Number of Students with 107.
