A Former Parliamentary Aspirant for the Dafiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency, Col Batuure Walter has passed on.

He Passed on Friday 22nd September 2023 after a Short illness. He was a Presidential Staffer and Committed Member of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) who sought to represent Dafiama-Bussie-Issa in Parliament but lost to Dr. Sebastian Sandare.

According to the Deputy NDC Communication Officer for Dafiama-Bussie-Issa, Mr. Gbangbala Abdul Mutalib, the Late Senior Military Officer passed on in September 2023.

On the passing of Hon Col Batuure Walter, I extend my deepest condolences to the grieving families of Babing and Batuure of Bussie-Dobaziire for this great lost. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this challenging time.

Until his demise, he was a retired Senior Military Officer, former Presidential Staffer and a former NDC 2015 parliamentary aspirant for the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency.

We also mourn the loss of a distinguished party stalwart in the Constituency.

May his soul find eternal rest with his maker.
