Lambussie

A Resident and Concerned Individual within the Lambussie Constituency in the Upper West Region by name Mavis Yaa has advocated for leaders and landowners of the area to willingly sell plots of land in the area to visitors and investors to develop the Constituency.

Mavis Expressed this and other concerns during a Social Engagement with other Constituents, responding to a query from Paul Bemane which stated, “Let us enumerate the factors that are holding Lambussie Constituency back in terms of Development.”

In Response to the Statement, Mavis Yaa Stated:

To me, First, they should sell plots at a moderate prices to attract buyers.

Second, those in authority should lure investment to the area.

Third, Security should Paramount within the area with this it attract people and business to the area, people prefer places that they safe.

“To get that, the town to be developed and before the town can develop they need to start to sell plots to people to buy and built house.”

Lambussie is one of the 11 Constituencies in the Upper West Region with a population of 51,118, 25,060 Males and 26,058 females According to the 2021 Population and housing Census.

Lambussie has several development challenges including the Lack of Tarred roads in several areas including it’s Capital.
