The Nandom Municipal Chief Executive, Honorable Raymond Nero has verbally abused Mr. Philimon Wein, the Nandom Constituency Chairman of the opposition NDC over voter transfer.

Two Metro Mass Transit buses arrived at the Nandom EC Office this morning with voters for the purpose of transferring their votes.

It emerged that there were people who could not identify which part of Nandom they came from and so the Nandom NDC Constituency Chairman and others opposed their transfer move.
This infuriated the Nandom MCE who lost his cool and used unprintable words on the NDC Chairman until he (MCE) was moved away from the scene.

The voter transfer was haulted for several minutes until Constituency Executives from the NDC and NPP met with the EC Officials and resolved the issue.

It was agreed that any person who could not identify which part of Nandom he or she comes from would not be allowed to follow through with the transfer process.
