Member of Parliament for Sissala East Constituency who doubles as Deputy Minister for Water Resources and Sanitation, Mr. Amidu Chinnia has introduced a Teacher Award Scheme in his Constituency to commemorate efforts of teachers in the area annually.

Some of the Prices Include:
Best Teacher, 1st Runner Up, Second Runner Up, Best Kindergarten Teacher and also some Citations were given out to Deserving Teachers.

Mr. Nankpa Jibiliru was Adjudged Best Teacher in Sissala East and took home a Motorbike.

Today is world teachers day, congratulations to all teachers in the Sissala East Municipality. You are playing your part in educational delivery.

I supported the Municipal education directorate to use this special day to organize teachers award scheme for teachers in the Municipality and I congratulate all the awardees. I pray we sustain this award scheme on yearly basis.

Education is the pivot of development and all stakeholders must make conscious efforts to promote education in the Municipality and beyond.

Congratulations to all teachers on this special day of World teachers day.
