The Principal State Attorney in charge of Upper West Region, Lawyer Saeed Abdul Shakur has admonished people in Upper West Region, especially men to desist from engaging underaged in intimate discuss that will in the long run influence them to have carnal knowledge of such vulnerable girls.

Speaking to Muniru Ibrahim on Radio Mak’s Maaliyiri Program, he urged men to pursue Women closer or within their age range to avoid the prosecution, he added that that it will be safe to get a ‘big’ woman, spend some resources and get what you want rather that resorting to underaged girls which will in the long round get you jailed.

“… Whether an underaged girl agrees or not it’s against the law to have carnal knowledge of the person, just get your self one of those mature girls above the defined age of Defilement and mingle with such people, be willing to spend and you’ll get a good and mature partner rather than resorting to these small girls…”
