On Saturday October 7, 2023, the Paramount Chief of the Nandom Area; His Majesty Naa Prof Edmund Mwinyem Delle Chiir Viii joined his friend and colleague (His Majesty Togbe Afede of the Asgle state) to mark his 20th anniversary. It was a colourful occasion and the two had good time together and held discussion on issues of common interest.

Naa Prof Edmund Delle who is medical Practioneer became very popular after initiating certain rigid policies to shape the social standing of his traditional area, these policies included placing a ban on holding funerals for more than 24 hours, he introduced a policy preventing the sale of food at funeral gatherings, no abuse of alcohol at Funeral Grounds, no secular music at Funeral Grounds and no trading at Funeral Grounds.

These directives have since been enforced in the Nandom Traditional Area since they were put in place, April 2023.

Nandom Traditional Area is located in the North Western Part of the Upper West Region Surrounded by Constituencies including Lawra, Jirapa and Lambussie.
