Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin

The Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin has Touted the Efforts of Wa East District Education Directorate on their Achievements in 2022’s BECE Performance.

He Made the Statement During the 2024 Budget Approval for the Wa Municipal Assembly on the Tuesday 31st October 2023.

Per the Records the Wa East District was First when Data was released with regards of Performance of All 5 Municipalities and 6 Districts in the Upper West Region.

He also commended the Wa Municipal Education Directorate for the 20% Improved BECE Performance level of Past Candidates for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 Academic Year.

“..From 2020 to 2022 we’ve moved by 20% percentage, within a space of two years, this means if everything stays this way, in the next two to three years we can be able to get 100%, that is why I said that one the whole the municipality is doing very very well..”

He Compared Wa Municipality’s Performance to Wa East District on Basis of BECE Results.

“…But if you compare to Wa East, that will be one on One basis and they will be doing better than us in terms of performance or pass rate but that doesn’t mean we are not performing..”
