On the 3rd of November 2023, a delegation by the Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency Hon Dr Sebastian Sandaare led by the NDC Constituency Deputy Secretary Mr David Kankuubata visited the Baliania JHS to acquaint themselves with the current situation in the school.

The team was informed of some challenges of the school that include; lack of furniture, textbooks etc. In response, the team pledged on behalf of the Member of Parliament to work assiduously in partnership with others to remedy the situation.

The team used the opportunity to present *100 Exercise books, a football and one packet of pens* to the students for academic work. The delegation leader, Mr David Kankuubata admonished all students to learn harder by assuring them the best of luck in their academic endeavors.

On receiving the items on behalf of the school and students, the headmaster, Mr Abdul-Rahim was grateful for the kind gesture from the hardworking Member of Parliament and as the adage says “Oliver twist will always ask for more”.

The Member of Parliament delegations was led by Mr David Kankuubata and accompanied by Daguubaa NDC Branch chairman Mr Dakura Robert, Dobaziiri Youth Organizer Mr Gregory Yenkaayi and some party faithfuls.
