In September 2023, Mr. Alhassan Abubakar, a supporter of Kennedy Agyapong campaign team, was involved in a feud at Nandom District with a fellow NPP colleague who supports the Vice President Campaign. The feud led to exchange of blows.

Alhassan Abubakar was detained on 4th September, 2023 at 4: 00 p.m. and was arraigned before court in less than 24 hours where he was granted bail.

An out of court settlement was reached when the case was called today, November 7, 2023.

The victim, Mr. Yirbie Enoch proposed the following people as mediators: Mr. Simon Kuubeyangdaar and Alhaji Hudu Mahmud (Chairman and Vice chairman of Nandom Constituency NPP).

The accused, Mr. Alhassan Abubakari also proposed Mr. Victor S. Imoru, Assembly Member for Nandom East and Mr. Patrick Nakpenaah, Nandom NPP Constituency Youth Organizer.

The presiding judge asked the matter be resolved by November 21, 20203 and reported to him.

Meanwhile the Flagbearer Elections Ended on 4th November 2023 and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was Declared Winner of the Elections with Over 100,000 Votes Nationwide.
