According to the Public Interest and Accountability Committee(PIAC) in it’s 2022 Report Elaboration by Mr. Nasir Mohammed Alpha Esq, Vice Chairman to PIAC, Several Projects have been Executed in the Upper West Region of Ghana from Ghana’s Oil Revenue.

The Presentation was Made at Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University in April 2023.

the Details of Account were shared as Follows:

Fiirstly, Construction of 2 No. Small Dams at Yibile and Kadoli in the Wa Municipality at an Amount of Ghc573,646.95

Secondly, Upgrading of Wa-Bulenga-Yaala Road at Ghc22, 561,762.45

Thirdly, Construction of CHPS Compound at Eggu in the Upper West Region at an Amount of Ghc176,858.56

Fourthly, Rehabilitation of Irrigation Dam at Eremon, Lawra District at an Amount of Ghc121,246

Furthermore, There were other Notable Projects Highlighted without Estimated Revenue Spent.

Rehabilitation of Irrigation Dam at Nakore in the Wa Municipality, Construction of Wa-Han Road in Wa Municipality, Rehabilitation of Yeliyiri Dam in Wa East District, Rehabilitation of Science Resource Center at St. Francis Girls SHS, Rehabilitation of Irrigation Dam at Duori in Jirapa, Payment for the Rehabilitation of Irrigation Project at Piiyiri in Jirapa, Rehabilitation of Irrigation Dam at Eremon in Lawra Municipality, Payment for Rehabilitation of Irrigation Dam at Tenchira in the Lawra Municipality, Upgrading of Nadowli, Lawra, Hamile Road(Km 0-45) lot 7&8.
