On the 14th of November 2023, Some Unknown men invaded a School premises in Kpaguri and successfully broke into the Headmaster’s Office at about 3am In the Morning according to the School’s Security Man.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team at the School, the Security Man [Name Withheld] indicated that the Suspected miscreants were with guns.

“..By the time I saw them it was around 4am in the morning, some were with guns so I couldn’t have gone there to fight them..”

He added that, they conveyed a Wooden window frame of the school after their operation and dumped it about 100 meters away from the SDA Junior High School in Wa.

“..They destroyed the main window
of the Headmaster’s Office disposed off the wooden frame far away, I had to go and pick it up”.

Meanwhile Headmaster, Mr. Andrew Sotenge has expressed Worry with the Development indicating it was the third time such an incident had occured.

Also the SDA Church wasn’t left alone, the suspects forced their way Into the church and also the Staff office of the School, disorganized the office of the Teachers, Headmaster and also searched the Church.

Some Stakeholders have been to the School including the School’s School Improvement Support Officer(SISO), Elders of the SDA Church in Wa and the Assembly Member for the Area, Hon. Osman Nurideen.

The Issue has been Reported to the Wa Police Station for Investigations to be conducted.
