The proprietor of Senior Victory College in Wa, Mr Mumuni Sulemana, has emphasized on the importance of unity, respect, and diversity among the people of Upper West for the development of the region.

He pointed out that even though the region has produced many great leaders and personalities, it is still underdeveloped.

Mr Mumuni stressed that the region is lacking development because they often vote for the wrong people to lead them.

He explained that the region can only achieve the development that it deserves if everyone accepts Wa as the regional capital and works together to develop it.

The main topic of the program was “Why we have the big and finest brains from the upper west region yet wallowing in abject poverty.”

Mr Mumuni added that he is determined to fight for the development of the region and will never give up.
