The Senior Assistant Registrar in charge of Academic Affairs at the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS), Mr. Mu-een Abdulai has made unambiguous explanations about programs offered in the university and their accreditations.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team on 12th of November 2023, he indicated that the institution is very much serious in accrediting it’s programs.

“..I’ll say the SD Dombo University is one of the Universities that is very serious with accrediting it’s programs, I’m not directly in charge of that ,the Academic quality assurance office are in charge of that but I’m part of the committee that passes the documents for Accreditation…”

He Assured that almost all their programs and Documents have been Forwarded for Accreditation.

“.. I can assure you that almost all our documents have been issued for accreditation, recently they approved a number of them for us but some few are still pending..”

He sighted delay by the Accreditation board in Issuing accreditations as one of their challenges.

“… Sometimes it’s also because the Accreditation board of GTEC also delays with the Accreditation process but I can assure you that quite a number of the programs were approved for us and have been accredited now, it’s just a few that are left..”

He promised to Update the Media with outstanding programs yet to be Accredited.

“…I’ll update you with the list as to the few that are left and the number that are left, I will get in touch with the office in charge and we will update you with the current status.”
