On the 6th of November 2023, Francis Edward Dongyiri left Gangaa FM after tendering his resignation letter to the station.

He expressed concerns with developments at the station that do not go well with his ethical principles, a reason he stopped serving as a morning show host of the Radio Station.

He has reportedly moved to Wa to Join Hope FM a recently established Commercial Radio Station in the Wa Municipality.

Mr. Dongyiri’s Resignation was surrounded with several controversies including speculations that he was sacked.

His Resignation Message is Below:

I really appreciate your support for me since I have been a staff of Gangaa Fm from 2022 till now. l offered my best and contributions to the development of the station and to Jirapa as large when I was recruited as a staff. It is my pleasure to thank the management and all staffs of the institution for their support.

I wish to formally inform you that I have resigned from Gangaa Fm as a staff. This is some internal issues and mysteries in the institution as l have to advise myself and focus on my personal businesses to improve my educational ladder. I still commit myself on any call up for any schedule. l sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this resignation might cause. Thank you
