A Committee set to look into and deliberate on Days of the Week in Ghanaian Language’s Dagaare have come out with 7 Names that will represent Monday to Sunday in Dagaare.

These Names outline During the 2nd Dagaare Language and Culture Conference held at GNAT Hall in Tiegbere, Wa on the 14th of October 2023 were as follows.

Below are; Days of The Week in Dagaare.

Yendaare – Monday
Yidaare – Tuesday
Tadaare – Wednesday
Nadaare – Thursday
Nudaare – Friday
Yodaare – Saturday
Podaare – Sunday

Dagaare is one of the Fast Rising Languages in the Upper West Region and Beyond, The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon Alban Bagbin Supported the Conference with Ghc10,000.

Meanwhile some Beneficiaries and Students of Dagaare have expressed worry about the Neglect from Authorities, According to them, Brilliant buy needy students willing to pursue Dagaare at the Highest level have been neglected.

No Form of Scholarship packages are available even at the District Assembly Level to Champion Students in Studying Dagaare at the Higher Level.
