The 39th Best Farmers’Day Celebration was held Across Ghana including the Upper West Region on Friday 1st December 2023 and the following people were Adjudged winners across the Upper West Region.

Mr. Doho Sumaila, a dedicated 48-year-old farmer from the Sissala West district has emerged as the Regional Best Farmer, showcasing his unwavering commitment to agriculture and excellence.

Meanwhile in Wa Municipality, Braimah Suleman, a remarkable 39-year-old from Gbegruu was recognized as the municipal best farmer. His dedication and hard work have truly made a difference in our community.

Also in Nandom, Best Municipal Farmer Bestinus Gol from Tampelle went home with an Apsonic Motorking Tricycle Donated my the Member of Parliament for Nandom, Lawyer Ambrose Dery. Alesobo Deri Azie Chemogoh was Adjudged the best Municipal Crop Farmer. The Program was held at Tantuo-Tampelle.

In DBI, the Farmers Day Occasion was held at Kpare/Jimpensi whilst that of Jirapa was held at Sabuli, the Best Farmer of Jirapa Municipality was Hypolite Bawanye.
