The NPP Parliamentary Primaries are set to be held in two days within 111 orphan Constituencies Across the Country.

In the Upper West Region, the Elections were held in 8 Orphan Constituencies and out of the eight, one constituency had a candidate going Unopposed in Nadowli-Kaleo by Name Francis Xavier Kambotuu.

Seven Municipal and District Chief Executives Contested in the Race and Out of the Seven, this is the performance of All MMCEs in the Race.

Lawra: In Lawra, Mr. Jacob Dery was Declared the Winner with a Total Votes of 186 , The Former Nadmo Officer was in the Race with Stephen Engmen, an Embattled Deputy NDA Chef Executive Officer and Joseph Y. Faalong. Mr. Jacob Domekakpier Dery, MCE of the Area is the Elected Parliamentary candidate for Lawra.

Wa East: Mr Ewurah Suleman Kandia, Currently the District Chief Executive and Lecture at SDD-UBIDS has also been Voted and Elected as Parliamentary candidate for Wa East Constituency, He was in the Race with Yakubu Salifu and Alitu Isaac, a Former DCE of the Area. Mr
Ewurah Polled 325 Votes out of 651 and was Subsequently declared Winner of the Parliamentary Primaries.

Dafiama-Bussie-Issa: Mr. Nadi Sanda Imoro, the District Chief Executive of the Area was declared Winner after Polling 210 Votes out of 369 in Total. He was in the Race with One other, Lawyer Mujeeb Kelle.

Wa Central: The Two-Time Parliamentary candidate for Wa Central Constituency who is Currently the Wa Municipal Chief Executive Lost to Hajia Humu Awudu in the Just Ended Parliamentary Primaries, He was in the Race with Hajia Humu Awudu and Issahaku Nayaru. The Municipal Chief Executive Polled Votes 441 whilst the Winner polled 567 Votes, Mr. Nayaru Polled 17 Votes out of a Total of 1058.

Sissala West: The District Chief Executive, Madam Aisha Batong Hor was in the Race with Naliwie Baluwie and Luri Tia Bosco, Mr. Naliwie Baluwie won in the poll with 299 Votes, Mr. Bosco Tia polled 192 Votes, The DCE Polled 21 Votes in Sissala West out of a Total 513.

Wa West: Madam Vida Diorotey was in the Race with Three Others making a total of four. She Polled 232 Votes out of 751 Votes, Mr. James Kpirifaatey Won the elections with 319 Votes, Mr. Bukari Ali also Polled 143 Votes whilst James Tengbiir Bobin Polled 20 Votes.

Jirapa: Two People contested in this Constituency, The MCE, Lawyer Nicholas Soyiri and Madam Ayisha Salifu, Lawyer Soyiri Polled 331 votes whilst Ayisha Salifu polled 364 votes to be declared Winner out of 702 Votes in Total.

In All, Three MMDCEs Won whilst Four Lost.
