The Kakube Festival 2024 was officially launched on 3rd of December 2023 by the esteemed Nandom Naa Naa, Professor Edmund N.Delle Chiir VIII, along with the sub Chiefs.

This month-long traditional program commenced with a traditional launch last week and is followed by the public launch today. The festival itself will reach its climax on December 24, 2023.

In an important decision made by the traditional council, Naa Prof. has resolved to invite the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, as the guest of honor for the festival. This decision highlights the significance of the festival and the cultural heritage it represents.

We extend a warm invitation to all Nandome residents living overseas and in Ghana to come back home and be a part of this paramount cultural celebration. It is an opportunity to experience and embrace our rich traditions.
