The Office of Parliament’s Majority Chief Whip has Appointed the Member of Parliament for Lambussie, Dr. Bright Baligi as Vice Chairman of Government Assurance Committee in their New Appointments.

He is to Assist Hon. Faruk Umar Aliu Mahama, MP for Yendi as the Chairman.

The Government Assurance Committee is one of the standing committees in Parliament. It oversees the promises made by the government through various ministries, ensuring that the government fulfills these commitments. This committee plays a crucial role in holding the government accountable for its promises.

Residents of Lambussie are Optimistic the Position will play a role for the Member of Parliament to ensure that the roads in Lambussie are tarred, as the government has pledged to prioritize infrastructure development under the “year of roads” initiatives.
